Clinical Governance Manager

Frontier Medical Services is a division of the Exploration Logistics Group and provides medical support services to clients operating in remote or hazardous environments worldwide, both on and offshore. Due to the continued expansion of the company we have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Governance Manager to work within our Frontier Medical Services team in Mitcheldean, Gloucestershire.

The position will involve the development and implementation of a framework for Clinical Governance across Frontier operations and will suit an experienced nursing professional. There will be some overseas travel involved to visit operations and medical personnel in the field.

The role will include the following duties:

  • Liaison with the Frontier medical management team in areas of quality improvement
  • Development of appropriate systems to include risk management and learning from incidents
  • Clinical audit development and co-ordination
  • Ensuring good practice and evidence based practice is supported
  • Producing and implementing policies and procedures for the training of staff
  • Assisting in the selection of Frontier field medical staff

Junior Java Programmer

Exploration Logistics provides medical, safety and landmine clearance services in some of the most hazardous environments in the world. Due to the continued expansion of the company we have an exciting opportunity for a junior programmer to work within our existing team in Mitcheldean, Gloucestershire.

The position offers the potential to develop skills in the software cycle from analysis of business needs through to design and implementation of software solutions and on to post development support. Applicants should be either a graduate or have commercial experience of development, with the following skills:

  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years working with Java
  • Good knowledge of web based applications
  • Experience of JSF, Spring, Hibernate, JUnit and Tomcat preferable
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to work self sufficiently under pressure
  • A positive and creative attitude
